Our Passion cabin is the second story room in our two-story building at the highest point in our property. It is a spacious, well ventilated, rustic luxury cabin engineered to be kept cool using a passive cooling design, avoiding the need for air conditioning. It was built using environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and teak wood from a sustainable teak production farm in Costa Rica. It has a large balcony with seating area, a king or two queen size beds with high-quality mattresses, a ceiling fan, a tiled bathroom with two rain shower heads, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Drake Bay jungle and Corcovado National Park—right from the bed and shower!
It features vines winding around the balcony railing and an amazing view that lets you take in the ocean and jungle views with birds and butterflies surrounding you. Depending on the time of the year, you may be able to see whales in the bay from this cabin.
The Passion flower plant not only produces the sweet, juicy passionfruit. It also exhibits spectacular deep purple, orange and blue flowers with a delicate and unique shape. Also known as the 'clock flower', their nectar attracts both hummingbirds and butterflies including the bold-striped Zebra longwing.
