Our Heliconia Bungalow has the most private deck among our cabins. It is a spacious, well ventilated, engineered to be kept cool using a passive cooling design, avoiding the need for air conditioning. It was built using environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and teak wood from a sustainable teak production farm in Costa Rica. It has a large balcony with seating area, a king size bed with a high-quality mattress, a ceiling fan, a tiled bathroom with two rain shower heads, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Drake Bay jungle and Corcovado National Park—right from the bed and shower!

The heliconia plant is known as the Lobster Claw and is similar in appearance to the Bird of Paradise flower. During the rainy season, these striking red and yellow flowers will appear around your cabin, attracting a wide variety of butterflies and birds.
