Unlike our other Bungalow, the Orchid Bungalow faces the direction of the sunrise and also features a large window on the north bedroom side facing the ocean. Experiencing this Bungalow during the sunrise or full moon is an unforgettable event.

The Orchid Bungalow is a spacious, well ventilated, engineered to be kept cool using a passive cooling design, avoiding the need for air conditioning. It was built using environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and teak wood from a sustainable teak production farm in Costa Rica. It has a large balcony with seating area, a king size bed with a high-quality mattress, a ceiling fan, a tiled bathroom with two rain shower heads, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Drake Bay jungle and Corcovado National Park—right from the bed and shower!

The Orchid is one of the most elegant and diverse flower species on earth. Costa Rica alone has over 1300 different varieties of orchids with an immense assortment of beautiful shapes and intense colours. The exotic perfumes of the orchid flowers surround this cabin, including the Guaria Morada—Costa Rica’s national flower.
