Tour Details

Just 30 minutes from Bahía Drake, within the 2,500 square kilometers of the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve, lies the small community of Los Planes. This area borders Corcovado National Park and is home to a station of the same name, which boasts an impressive landscape and the warmth of its inhabitants.

Enjoy the diversity and beauty of the primary forest on this day tour. Tall trees, a wide variety of vegetation, exotic wildlife, and tropical air blend to create this wonderful natural paradise. Walk the trails of the station, passing through both primary and secondary forests. On a good day, you may observe animals such as peccaries, coatis, agoutis, tapirs, and sloths. Look out for a wide variety of birds, including scarlet macaws, toucans, hawks, and hummingbirds. You can also watch white-faced and howler monkeys skillfully navigate the treetops.

The tour concludes near a natural pool close to a waterfall, where you can enjoy the refreshing crystal-clear waters.
