Our Lantana Bungalow takes up the entire first floor of our only two-story building at the highest point on our property. It is a spacious, well ventilated, engineered to be kept cool using a passive cooling design, avoiding the need for air conditioning. It was built using environmentally friendly, sustainable materials and teak wood from a sustainable teak production farm in Costa Rica. It has a large balcony with seating area, a king or two queen size beds with high-quality mattresses, a ceiling fan, a tiled bathroom with two rain shower heads, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the famous Drake Bay jungle and Corcovado National Park—right from the bed and shower!

In Costa Rica, Lantana is a native species of plants which produces a dazzling array of delicate purple, blue, yellow, orange, red and white flowers. These plants attract butterflies and hummingbirds, giving this cabin a romantic, fairy tale quality.
